2019 Solidify conference

The European Forum for Urban Security (EFUS), the City of Lisbon and the EMCDDA is co-hosting the final conference of the Solidify project from 5–6 December in Lisbon. The Solidify project, run by EFUS since January 2018, focuses on the implementation and sustainability of drug consumption rooms (DCRs) in selected European cities and their impact. The conference will offer the chance to exchange views on innovative and human rights-based local drug policies, the role of DCRs in this endeavour, and the political challenges around the issue. It will also review work on fostering constructive local multi-agency partnerships around DCRs – as an essential basis for their positive impact, urban security and public tranquillity.
